Over the past 4 years, I have had the privilege of having Karie Beluke on my team. Karie’s responsibilities have changed over these years however, she has always demonstrated a positive commitment to Point-N-Click and our customers. Karie is primarily responsible for vendor relations, quoting, and purchasing. In order for her to be efficient in her position, Karie is constantly researching new products by communicating daily with our vendors. If you desire a hardware or software quote from Karie you’ll quickly realize the value of her training.

When I hired Karie, I noticed on her resume that she earned an Associates Degree from Rochester Business Institute in Programming/Accounting and a Bachelors Degree from St. John Fisher College in Computer Science. She is very proud of these accomplishments and I feel these degrees has helped her connect with our staff and clients. Working for a small business requires a special person and Karie continually goes above and beyond her job description. She is devoted to raising her two daughters which can be a tough task while trying to meet her commitments at the office. When Karie is looking to get away and relax you will find her at her Dad’s cottage on Sodus Bay. Her goal is to someday purchase a new home and I believe it won’t be long before that dream comes true.

The reason I felt Karie deserved to be included in this month’s newsletter is because of her willingness to help me with our restructuring at Point-N-Click. Karie understands my vision for the company and recently found a solution for our web development group that helps us articulate our objectives for clients. This tool was quickly accepted by our team and has helped us be more efficient in this department. What makes this remarkable for me as an owner is Karie identified the problem within the company and found a solution that helped her fellow co-worker, the company, and our clients.
