Welcome to our first newsletter from Point-N-Click. Our goal is to distribute one of these a month and we hope you find the information very valuable. This year has been an exciting year at Point-N-Click and keeping our clients informed has been our priority. From the beginning it was our intention to only send this to our existing clients however, based on the content, we decided to include everyone that are in our database hoping it will demonstrate the value we provide as a company.
I want to thank everyone who has helped me and my company especially my Vistage CEO group and coaches (Jennifer Sertl, Tom Merkel, and Bill Hamlin). I was introduced to Vistage formally
Matt Wood also no longer works for Point-N-Click. Matt had an ambition to own and manage real-estate in Rochester. While working for Point-N-Click, Matt was able to begin his dream. After acquiring his fifth property it was clear that he could no longer fulfill the requirements of his position with Point-N-Click and chose to go off on his own. Matt misses the friends he made while supporting your businesses and he still checks in wondering how his accounts are doing.

Internally we also created three more positions and filled them with Danika Cummings, Doug Merritt, and Tim Conner. Although we are very happy with our high tech phone system, I felt it necessary to provide the personal experience of speaking with a receptionist. Many of you have had an opportunity to speak with Danika Cummings and I hope you have found her very helpful. In addition to answering the phone, Danika is also responsible for scheduling on-site customer support. Doug Merritt was hired as a project manager for our web design group. Doug is also very experienced in web production and will be responsible for managing our team of web developers. Tim Conner was added to our team to provide inside support for our customers. Tim is the person you’ll see if you drop off your computer to be serviced and the voice you’ll hear when you need phone support. Over the next three months Tim will be working toward his Microsoft MCP Certification.

Thank you for taking time to read this newsletter. I feel our relationship is based on trust and communication. I will continue to produce my newsletter on a monthly basis as long as it is beneficial to you. I welcome your feedback and you can send it to scott@pointnclickpcs.com.

Thank for this opportunity,

known as "TEC" The Executive Committee over two years ago and I have found this organization extremely helpful. Owning and running this company for over 11 years has been challenging especially in an industry where the products and service change quarterly.

I heard a saying, “If you plant a seed it will grow toward the sun. If you stake that plant, it will grow in the direction you want it to.” In 2007, I found my company was growing , not necessarily in the direction I envisioned. Taking control of the growth and making changes has been my goal in 2007.

Part of my changes included the staff. You may have noticed some of the new members at Point-N-Click. My goal has always been to assist customers with my knowledge and professionalism. As we have grown I found I can't be personally involved with every transaction or client. I believe you'll find the staff I have selected share in my enthusiasm and knowledge. In 2006, I started a formal training program for my staff at Point-N-Click, investing a lot of time and money. This training is focused on developing them with a mix of technical and communication skills. I hope to gain your trust by providing the best possible support to your company. I will continue training my staff because I believe in the value it provides.

I am also very proud of the relationship I have with the internship program at Alfred State College. We have had many graduates come through our program. Two of whom I hired were Dan Hoetger and Brent Charles. After two years of service with Point-N-Click they have decided to follow their dreams, moving to California. They will be missed and hopefully will find success in their new pursuits. I have spent the past two months interviewing for suitable replacements to represent my company. Chris Smith accepted the position and responsibility of Senior Support Engineer, and Tim Conner Support Technician. I believe you'll find these guys to be a good fit.
